Hey everybody! I wanna invite you the official CD release party of the
two new EP's that I just finished on July 30th at Everyday Joes in
downtown fort collins! come check it out! We want everyone we know to be
there! We're gonna play all the new tunes and we're so excited to show
them off to you!
Dear Family, Friends and Fans:
I want to start off by saying thank you! I’m writing to you because in some way, shape or form you have been a supporter of the ministry that God has put on my heart. It is because of you that I have been able to do this for the past six years. No matter how the face of this ministry has changed I’ve always worked my hardest to keep the ministry the focus of everything I have done. With your help and encouragement a group of teenage guys have been able to travel all over the United States spreading the Good News through music.
There have already been a lot of exciting things happening this year. I have been blessed to share it with the amazing group of guys that I’m playing with right now. We have a blast playing together and are excited for the rest of 2010 with a busy summer and fall planned! I am writing a ton of new music and we can’t wait to get a new CD out and start playing it all. It has been over three years since we had a full length CD.
Right now I have an incredible opportunity to go to Nashville and record a new full-length album. It is extremely exciting, of course, but nerve wracking as well. As with many other businesses, people and ministries, I have found this year to be a very tough one financially. When the idea of recording a new record came about, I originally pushed away quickly because I did not have the funds available to produce it.
I have been very blessed to have a community of other artists and friends in Nashville and across the country that believe so much in this music ministry that they are willing to help. With donated time and resources, making this record has become an obtainable goal. Through their generosity my expenses have been cut in half! I have been doing everything I can to get the rest of the money together to make this record happen. I have been booking many shows and selling equipment that is not essential. But, I am still falling short. Whether or not I get to record a new CD, the guys and I are going to continue to work hard to spread the Word through music. I’m ready to share all the new lyrics and songs with you.
This is difficult for me to do, but I want to personally ask you to again consider supporting this ministry by helping me produce this new record. I am close to having the funds but need your help. I would be extremely grateful for anything you can give or do to help produce this record. Every little bit will help me reach this goal. Whether you are able to help monetarily or through prayer and encouragement the band guys and myself greatly appreciate it!
I am excited for what the future holds. Come see a show and hang out with us! We’re playing some of the new songs already and would love for you to hear them.

PADUCAH, Ky., Sept. 16 Up and coming Christian Rock artist
Andrew Witt is drumming up a stir, announcing his unique sponsorship by
Dippin' Dots Ice Cream.
Witt, former lead singer of the band Rough Draft, has partnered with
Dippin' Dots, Inc. to deliver his message nation wide. Witt is
performing alongside Aaron Shust in Chris Sligh's Back to School Tour: The Stimulus Package, in his first tour since he began his solo career. The 24-date tour opened Sept. 11 in Washington, Pa.
"Corporate sponsorship is a crucial ingredient for
successful touring," said Witt's manager Mitch White. "We're pleased to
have Dippin' Dots' backing for this tour. They are a great fit and have
been incredibly supportive of Andrew."
"It's always extremely fun watching people's eyes light
up when we pull into the parking lot and the first thing everyone sees
is a giant Dippin' Dots trailer," Witt said. "The people who really
crack us up, though, are the brave souls on the highway who write on
pieces of paper saying they want us to pull over to get some ice cream!
I guess Dippin' Dots are just that amazing that people are even willing
to stop in the middle of their road trip to grab a cup full."
The relationship between Dippin' Dots and Witt began
three years ago at a Gospel Music Association event in Estes Park,
Colo. Dippin' Dots franchisee Keith Wren met Witt at the event and was
amazed by his talent.
"It was phenomenal to watch him play his guitar and
sing," Wren said. "It was obvious this kid [who was 15 at the time] had
a gift."
Wren, who is now close friends with the Witt family,
introduced the band to Dippin' Dots, Inc. in the spring. With both the
band and the product reaching a young, wholesome demographic, the
partnership was a perfect fit.
"Nothing got me more excited when I was a kid then eating
a bunch of Dippin' Dots and that still stands true as I'm growing up so
partnering together just seemed like a perfect fit," Witt said.
Witt is produced by former American Idol contestant Chris
Sligh. Witt and Sligh have been collaborating with other Christian
artists, writing songs for Witt's upcoming solo album.
